In the Timoulay region, one of the enchanting natural oases of the Guelmim province, a new light dawned in 2008. A light carried by a group of women and young people from the Timoulay Izdar village, who believed in the power of cooperation, the richness of the land in which they grew up, and that when nature is respected, it yields abundant goodness. Thus, the Tifaout Agricultural Cooperative was born, under an Amazigh name meaning "light." This name was not just a symbol, but the embodiment of a clear vision and a shared ambition .

The cooperative was founded by a group of local executives with experience in the cooperative field , united by a desire to capitalize on the region's natural assets and transform them into high-quality, value-added products that combine authenticity and effectiveness. Argan oil , the liquid gold unique to the Souss and southern Moroccan regions, was the starting point, providing the cooperative with a robust production chain that preserves its natural, nutritional, and cosmetic properties.

Over the years, Tifaout has expanded its scope of work, and its activity is no longer limited to argan oil alone, but it now produces and markets:

• Traditional amlou with its authentic ingredients of almonds or peanuts and honey.

• Olive oil , through the valuation of olive trees spread throughout the region.

• Natural free-range honey extracted from bees feeding on wild flowers.

• Cosmetic and vegetable oils such as prickly pear seed oil and herbal oils.
