About the platform
CoopSahara is the first digital platform of its kind in Morocco, specializing in the digitization and sale of agricultural cooperative products, both rural and urban, based in the Guelmim-Oued Noun region.
We aim to bridge the digital divide facing cooperatives by providing easy-to-use digital tools and comprehensive services that help them reach customers both inside and outside Morocco.
We are not just technical intermediaries. We believe that digitizing cooperatives is a fundamental step towards achieving spatial justice and economic empowerment.
This project is led by a highly qualified and internationally experienced team, whose goal is to transform the daily challenges faced by cooperatives into real and sustainable digital opportunities.
How did the idea for the platform come about?
The idea for the platform came from a real-life experience: its founder was president of a farming cooperative called "The Royal Bee," which today is the platform's primary partner and main supporter, and indeed an integral part of it.
He closely examined the daily challenges facing cooperatives, particularly with regard to marketing and customer communication. He found himself confronted with a painful reality: high-quality products, but a complete absence from the digital market.
This reality provided a powerful motivation, especially since the founder is considered one of Morocco's most prominent digital marketing experts, with extensive experience with major companies both inside and outside the country. He decided to transform this challenge into a national development project with a humanitarian and regional dimension.
Hence, the CoopSahara platform was born, an initiative that combines social vision, digital expertise, and a deep sense of belonging to the region .
Our background and experience
Behind the CoopSahara platform is a large-scale team of experts, consultants, and creatives who have accumulated years of experience in various fields: digital marketing, platform design, content production, project management, and strategic consulting .
The platform is led by an executive director from the Guelmim-Oued Noun region. He is considered one of the most prominent figures in digital marketing in Morocco , with years of experience working with major institutions and companies both inside and outside Morocco.
The executive team is comprised of a network of professionals from different Moroccan cities and abroad , who have previously worked on international projects with prestigious brands in Europe and the Gulf.
This geographic and professional diversity not only constitutes the platform's technical strength, but also gives it a global strategic vision , which translates into quality performance, innovative solutions, and speed of implementation.

Why did we start from Guelmim-Oued Noun?
Because it's a region with immense agricultural and heritage riches, it has remained on the margins of digitalization, and most of its cooperatives still rely on traditional sales and marketing methods. We want to restore balance and give this region the opportunity to shine nationally and internationally.
Our vision for the future
We aspire not only to be a sales platform, but also to become a fair and humane link between local products and digital markets. We will continue to expand to include other southern regions, and later craft cooperatives, and develop our services to keep pace with the true digital transformation.
